As part of Frontier’s sponsorship of the EAGE Annual Conference & Exhibition, the Global Upstream Leaders Forum convened in Aberdeen. Supported by key partners, this private gathering of Frontier Energy Network Members and guests brought together senior industry leaders to engage in focused discussion on upstream opportunity and to build high-value relationships.

As part of Frontier’s sponsorship of the EAGE Annual Conference & Exhibition, we curated and convened the Global Upstream Leaders Panel within the SEM Programme in Aberdeen on 9 June. On the Strategic Stage following the SEM Lunch, and open to all EAGE delegates alongside invited Frontier guests, this session addressed the big-picture strategic forces shaping the upstream industry. Under the theme “Rebalancing the New World Order in an Age of Fragmentation – Where Is Upstream Really Heading?”, the panel explored how companies are navigating an increasingly complex and unpredictable environment, from shifting geopolitics and evolving exploration priorities to operational realities on the ground. The discussion focused on where upstream is genuinely advancing, the role of exploration in securing future supply, and how leading players are positioning their portfolios as the industry adapts to a world where old assumptions no longer hold true.
