International Plaudits for World Energies Summit Prelude Multi-Continental Members’ Series

Frontier Energy Network, the energy industry’s leading membership forum for collaboration and deal making, has announced the successful launch of its latest Global Summit, focused upon oil and gas production opportunities in the world’s energy hotspots.

The Summit, which took place in central London last month, brought together a concentrated gathering of over 150 c-level decision makers and government officials from across 18 countries.

Described by Lebanon’s Minister of Energy and Water as “a passionate, diverse, specialised and relevant audience”, the Summit’s two-day agenda featured 45 speakers from a wide range of private and state-operated energy organisations.

The World Energies Summit was also an opportunity for three of Frontier’s four recently-appointed Regional Leaders to appear together. Chosen in recognition of their commitment to the sustainable development of their region’s energy industry, Ian Cross, Amalia Olivera-Riley and Shakwa Nyambe added to the agenda by discussing energy developments across Asia Pacific, Europe/UK and Namibia, respectively.

Each Frontier Regional Leader (including Jennifer Medcalf for North America) will be hosting a calendar of regional activity during the next 12 months, including a series of events to be held in Windhoek – Namibia, Houston – USA, London – UK, Cairo – Egypt and Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia.

Gayle Meikle, Frontier CEO, explains the concept behind the regional events:

Designed to provide energy professionals with an intimate environment in which to discuss current industry topics, our regional networking events play host to industry leaders and government officials who are setting the tone and leading the charge as the global energy industry continues to develop at pace.
