What complimentary travel support and advice can Frontier offer?

Frontier is able to provide complimentary travel advice and support to the following;

  • Ministers
  • Government Officials
  • Sponsors
  • Exhibitors
  • Members of the Frontier Energy Network

If you are in one of these categories, contact the team at Frontier and we will make an introduction to our expert travel consultant who will be able to advise and assist you on your particular position including;

✔️ Assistance with exemption from restrictions (Ministers, Government officials and C-level Executives).
✔️ Guide you through the travel booking process.
✔️ Clarity on current COVID-19 restrictions for entry to the UK.
✔️ Flights, hotels, car hire and transfers if required (these elements are for your own account and will not be covered by Frontier).

It is important to note that success of being granted an exemption cannot be guaranteed and Frontier cannot accept responsibility for the outcome, although it is naturally in our best interest to help as best we can.

What if I do not fit into one of these categories for complimentary support?

If you do not fit into one of these categories for complimentary support, you have two options. You can purchase a In-Person Conference ticket to attend and you will then qualify for support. Tickets can be purchased here.

Alternatively, you can contact us for an introduction to the travel consultant and pay directly for consultation, the fee will be for your own account. We will do our best to furnish you with an introduction at our discretion if we believe you to have a genuine interest and intent to travel to London to attend the Summit.

What are the rules for passengers arriving into England from amber list countries and the USA that are fully vaccinated?

Please note that the UK government has now announced that passengers arriving from amber countries who have been fully vaccinated in Europe (EU Member States, European Free Trade Association countries and the European microstate countries of Andorra, Monaco and Vatican City) and the USA will not have to quarantine when entering England.
Full details are available on the government website: here.

Can you provide me with more information on applying for an exemption?

Certain senior executives that are performing activities which would be more likely than not to bring ‘significant economic benefit’ to the UK are exempt. Read the regulations for a full definition of a ‘senior executive’.

The exemption covers 2 types of senior executives (where they are undertaking qualifying activities in England). These are:

  • multinational executives – executives based overseas who are part of multinational firms and visiting their UK based subsidiaries or branches
  • international executives – executives of overseas companies normally based overseas who are seeking to undertake exempt activity in England related to either:
  • making a financial investment in a UK based business
  • establishing a new business within the UK
You do not qualify for the exemption if your activities can be done remotely (for example by telephone or email) or can be done by anyone other than you who would not need to leave self-isolation.

You are considered to be bringing ‘significant economic benefit’ if the work you are doing has a greater than 50% chance of creating or preserving at least 500 UK-based jobs in either:

  • an existing UK-based business which has at least 500 employees
  • a new UK business within 2 years of the date you arrive in the UK
For more information on applying for an exemption, visit the government website here.

How can I check if my country of origin is on the green, amber or red list for travel to England?

Countries rated as red, amber or green for coronavirus (COVID-19) and the rules you must follow to enter England can be explored on the government website here. The status of countries around the world are changing all the time so we recommend you check regularly.
