COVID-19 Measures in Place

Herewith information on the COVID-19 measures in place at the Africa Energies Summit. The Summit will be delivered in line with the events industry all secure standard framework and UK government guidelines, we will ensure the following actions are undertaken. All delegates are asked not to attend in person if symptomatic of COVID-19. We will automatically transfer your ticket to virtual attendance if you test positive.

If you develop symptoms during the conference, please do not attend, ensure you self-isolate and book a PCR test.   

Symptoms include:
- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- You’ve lost your sense of smell or taste, or it has changed
- Cold or hayfever symptoms

Lateral Flow Testing

We encourage all delegates to ensure they have completed a lateral flow test and tested negative, prior to travelling to the Summit.  Throughout the event we would ask you to test daily and ensure you have a negative result before coming to the event.  

Lateral flow tests (LFT) will be available for delegates at the Summit registration desk, these will be limited so we do ask where possible to bring enough tests with you to cover your duration of the event. 

Should you receive a positive LFT test, you must self-isolate and book a PCR test.  You must also notify the organisers by telephoning Sarah Byrne who will be on-site on +44 (0) 7730 597744 or emailing the Frontier Team at info@frontierenergy.network.  Here is more information on getting COVID-19 Test in the UK. Please keep the team advised at all stages.

Physical Distancing 

When planning all conference sessions, we have provided extra space for your safety. It is not mandatory to wear a face mask, but we ask you to consider doing so when walking around the venue particularly.

Cleaning & Hygiene 

Frequent hand washing is a top priority for the team at venue and hand sanitiser stations will be provided throughout the venues. Thank you for prioritising this whilst you are in-attendance. The venue will be regularly cleaning surfaces, door handles and other high touch points.

Food Service

Best practice will be applied and queuing will be managed by the team.  All staff are encouraged to wear face masks and hygiene will be of the highest priority. Hand sanitiser will be readily available.
